This episode we are joined by Matt Phillips - founder of the Phillips Brewing Company & one of my favorite beers - the Blue Buck!

After finishing his degree in Biology, Matt worked in the brewing industry for several different brewers before starting his own company.

Eight or nice credit cards of debt later, Matt launched Phillips and the rest is history!

There is has been a lot of ups and downs along the way, but Phillips has grown into one of Canada's most successful breweries.

We sat down for a smooth cup of rose bros coffee  and talked about how Matt almost quit along the way, word of mouth marketing, organic growth & the dangers of killing a brewery through the spreadsheet...
