In the book of Haggai, God reminds His people that He will remain faithful to the covenant He established with them when He brought them out of Egypt. Similarly, when God delivers us from sin, we are baptized, and filled with His Spirit, we enter into a covenant relationship with Him. Thus, we must persevere in our commitment to God, even when it seems like His promises are delayed, trusting that He will always uphold His covenant.
