The Gospel of Luke recounts a parable in which Jesus speaks of a vineyard keeper who advocated for a fruitless tree. Similarly, in our lives, there have been many instances when someone stood in the gap for us, preventing us from being destroyed. It is only by God's mercy that we are given the time to mature and grow into trees of righteousness and the planting of the Lord.
