On the evening of January 17, 1950, employees of the Brink's Company in Boston, Massachusetts, were surprised by 5-7 masked men. Within minutes, they’d stolen more than $2.7 million in cash, checks and other securities, making it the largest ever robbery in the US at the time and kicking off a massive FBI led manhunt.
