With the news that Roe v. Wade could potentially be turned over in the United States, the freedom of choice is under attack which could set reproductive rights back decades with just the stroke of a pen. Of the 50 states in the US, 26 will become hostile to abortion seekers, and 5 currently have no current laws protecting the right to abortion. The Cut's article (linked here) is a wonderful resource to consider donating to state specific groups that are on the ground trying to help folks with uteruses be able to seek the medical care that they choose to have. Here at the pod, we have donated to All-Options Hoosier Abortion Fund as we both grew up in Indiana, and want to continue to aid those in the state who simply need access to a full spectrum of healthcare, no matter their financial situation. Please consider donating to other groups similarly in order to help those who may soon be unequipped the option of their own choosing. As always, women's rights are human rights.
