The Groene family lived in rural Wolf Lodge, Idaho. Their home was surrounded by beautiful countryside and the three young Groene children spent their time outdoors fishing, camping and looking for crawdads. On May 15, 2005, the family hosted a barbeque for a few friends and neighbors. It was the last day the Groene family would enjoy each other's company.
