For chornic pain coaching, go to my website: Thoughtbythoughthealing.com In this episode I ask these questions? What caused your pain? What is the story you believe about the people around you? What about the places you go? As humans, we tell stories. They help us make sense of life. But sometimes we believe a story that is incorrect, this causes problems.
1. It sets our brain into danger mode.
2. It causes us to use the wrong tools for healing.
In this video I talk about the Blame Frame, the Truth Frame (which I designed) and the Outcome Frame:
The blame frame focuses on the answers to these questions: 1. What do I want? 2. How would I be able to get it? 3. When and where do I want it? 4. How will I know that I have it? 5. What other resources do I have to help me get this? 6. What am I going to begin doing now to get what I want?
The Truth Frame (which I created): 1. What was my brain/mind carrying? 2. What was happening in my life? 3. What emotion was I juggling? 4. What emotion did I not move towards? 5. If I was a character in a movie, what emotions would I be displaying? 6. What personality traits were present? People pleasing, perfectionism, criticalness, etc?
The Outcome Frame: 1. What do I want? 2. How would I be able to get it? 3. When and where do I want it? 4. How will I know that I have it? 5. What other resources do I have to help me get this? 6. What am I going to begin doing now to get what I want?
