43. Reivers to Ranchers: Influences of the Anglo-Scots Border Culture on the Forging of Florida and Our Cattle Culture; with special guest James Johnston
James Johnston is a Scotsman, founding member of the band Albannach, an avid hill walker offering tours in Scotland, and like myself a bit of an amateur historian. A commonality that we share is the fact that both our ancestors hail from the Borders of Scotland, and as many of my fellow native Floridians will soon learn they also share this in common with us. Join the two of us for "a wee chin wag" as we explore this intriguing region, it's tumultuous past, and how its culture helped create Florida and our rich ranching culture. Stay with us through the end of the show as we switch things up and close out with some music by Jamesie's band Albannach.
