Did you know there are tons of household items you can use to paint? One of my secrets to getting interesting mixed media artwork is to not use my paintbrush all the time! Found objects provide added visual interest to my painting and they’re a ton of fun to experiment with. I love to use them in underlayers or to get unexpected effects in my art. Today, I’m sharing how I use household items to make my artwork, and sharing a list of 12 to try that are probably found in your house right now.
