In II Samuel, we read the story of Mephibosheth, Jonathan's son, who was living with disabilities and was brought from Lo-debar to dine at the king's table. This story reflects a profound spiritual parallel: when we leave behind our own place of spiritual brokenness, God invites us to live in the palace of the King of kings. He offers each of us the chance to enter into His presence, and we must seize that opportunity, leaving our old life behind to follow Him.
