One of the first important business lessons I learned is the importance of the Average Lifetime Value of a client.
I was less than one year into business training athletes, mostly baseball players, and March rolled around which is the start of the baseball season.
Our athlete revenue started to drop, but luckily I started planting seeds in the winter for our adult program.
Fast forward 7 years later, our adult program is now our main source of revenue and has allowed us to grow into a 6,500 sq ft facility, while opening up 2 more gyms.
The biggest difference between athletes and adults is the average lifetime value. While we have plenty of athletes who've been with us for years many of them start for a few months out of the year, while our average adult trains with us for a few years.
In today's episode, Coach JT and I discuss how I grew our adult program from scratch.
