Edson Campos presents his painting called Opera, borrowing from a painting by Eugene Delacroix in which a king is destroying his kingdom. Opera was a 2009 Bronze Winner at the French Salon in the Grand Palais in Paris. Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Edson has enjoyed sketching and painting since childhood and has become a completely self-taught artist. He moved to the United States in 1978 and quickly established himself as an artist of the highest caliber.
