After nearly a decade as professional, Peter Stetina swapped skinny tyres for wide rubber, grew a tash and threw himself headlong into the gravel scene. Today he races as a self-styled privateer, competing at the sharp end of a newly emerging sport. Here he tells us why he loves gravel so much, why the UCI will change things, and tries to explain to Anthony how to use a tyre plug.
