Hello and welcome to episode #59 of the rose bros podcast!
This episode we are joined by Mike Belenkie- President of Advantage Oil & Gas, for part II of our conversation.
Advantage Oil & Gas is a mid-sized Canadian energy company with a market cap of around $500 million that also has interests in carbon capture technology.
Mike is a pretty interesting guy as he was a competitor at 2000 Sydney Olympics, where he competed in the sport of rowing for team Canada. He is also an engineer, scientist, & entrepreneur having previously founded Modern Resources - a private energy company which achieved commercial success.
In addition, he is also a Director of the Elk Valley Land Trust which is a non-profit organization with the goal of setting aside thousands of forest acres for future use in the Fernie area.
We sat down for a smooth cup of rose bros coffee and talked about how carbon capture works, the realities of renewable energy, an update on the Elk Valley Regional Land Trust and a lot more!
Also, if you get a chance to leave a review of the show in the Apple directory, it will go a long way to helping the show.
