Our guest this week is Joshua Magee. He is a former college baseball player turned Olympic Weightlifter. He always thought his path was professional baseball, but it was time to pivot when that dream didn't come to fruition. He began weightlifting less than 2 years ago and is climbing the ranks to become one of the top weightlifters in the country.
Josh understands the importance of the process. We dove into the story of how he told his coach on day 1 his ultimate goal was to go to the Olympics and how his routines and habits need to align with that goal.
Finally we get into my favorite topic, mindset. Josh goes through his mental process before taking a lift and how it's different from his baseball experiences.
