Here is a review of those 7 unhelpful beliefs:

1. Tell them everything I’m thinking
2. Reveal to them how they hurt me
3. Get them to see how they failed me
4. I can resolve my hurt by hearing an apology/admission of guilt
5. This is urgent. Don’t go to bed angry (two sleepy dysregulated people are horrible communicators)
6. The goal of conflict is to eliminate future pain or to become pain free
7. It’s a one and done. If we can have this convo long enough we will fix it once and for all
