This week we discuss: How we can support our senior dogs?

As our dogs age, their bodies change, as do their minds. In this episode, we want to empower dog owners around the world to take charge of their senior dog’s care and to take action in reducing (and sometimes even reversing) the symptoms of ageing. 

We have experienced ageing dogs in our own homes, and we are all too aware of the changes that can occur. Our once spry, joyful, and alert dogs can become a little stiffer, sleep more, wake more at odd hours, or even appear to be less joyful in their interactions with us. 

Our own senior dogs inspired us to grow our knowledge. What can you do to support your senior dog? We dive deeper into cognitive changes, as well as physical changes, and include some great learning, as well as some implementable strategies so that you too can help support your dog as they enter their senior years. 

Not only are there a lot of things you can do day to day that will help your dog; there are also some great ways to support your senior dog nutritionally. Empower yourself and other senior dog owners by listening in and sharing this immense episode with any owners you know may benefit.
