We start, as always, with Andrew and the Dewing Grain market report for week commencing 10th February 2020 and his analysis of how the corona virus might affect the markets.
In Farmchat, Andrew meets up again with Lizzie Emmett - Upper Wensum Cluster Farm Advisor, to chat about a myriad of other issues that they didn't manage to cover in Ep 65 at the end of last year. They kick off with turtle doves and what her group of farmers are doing to encourage more breeding pairs on their farms. They move on to cover cropping and the social benefits of being part of a farm group like the Upper Wensum Cluster. Lizzie finishes with some of her hopes and visions for the future with the end of BPS and hopefully seamlessly moving in to ELM (Environmental Land Management) - and it turns out don't even get Andrew started on turning arable land to scrub...
No beer today as Andrew wasn't in a beer mood - but there will be more beer next week!
