Vanessa Ferguson obtained her Associate degree and her bachelor’s degree in criminology, with a concentration in Legal Studies, from the University of South Florida St Petersburg. Ms. Ferguson attended the University of Dayton School of Law and graduated in two and a half years with a certification for her Intellectual Property concentration.

While attending law school, Ms. Ferguson pursued extensive studies in Intellectual Property, the Internet of Things and privacy issues related to both subjects. Ms. Ferguson also interned at the University of Dayton’s Office of Legal Affairs where she learned first-hand how to address various potential liability issues of a company proactively.

Before starting Ferguson Legal, PLLC, Ms. Ferguson worked at a national Employment law firm. In February 2019, Ms. Ferguson became a Certified Information Privacy Technologist, a certification that demonstrates her understanding of privacy and data protection practices in the development, engineering, deployment, and auditing of IT products and services. Ms. Ferguson is a personable and hard-working attorney, dedicated to addressing the precise and unique needs of all her clients.
