Shannon is deeply in love with her husband John and has been married for over 26 years. She has two spirited daughters, Alex 21 and Averee 18.

 

Her writing has been featured at iBelieve.com, Proverbs 31 ministries, ForEveryMom.com, HerViewFromHome.com, and A Wife Like Me. Shannon is currently working on her first book.

 

She’s an Oklahoma girl at heart but currently resides in the beautiful mountains of Colorado. When she’s not writing, you can find her reading a good book, sipping coffee on the back porch, skiing or hiking.

 

Shannon shares about clinging to God during hard seasons and struggling with knowing who she was during this time. Knowing your true identity and staying grounded in the fact that we are in Christ will help us to live our best lives. Shannon talks about how the Bible tells us how to fight and how to recognize that the devil is on the prowl and ready to attack. 

Staying in God’s word and soaking it up is the number one upgrade to take. Posting scripture around the house to stay reminded of His truths are a great way to stay confident in Him.
