This week on What's My Frame? I'm joined by actress and activist Michelle Hurd. I've been a fan of Michelle's work for some time. A few years ago I had the opportunity to hear Michelle speak at a SAG-AFTRA meeting; I knew then I had to find a time for us to chat and share that conversation with you all. Her heart for actors and passion for change are inspiring! Her experience growing up in the arts, having worked every SAG-AFTRA contract along with a well of compassion for artists is rare. Today Michelle shares personal stories and experiences from her nearly three decade career as an actor. She shares what inspired her to get involved and ultimately help pass The Crown Act as well as helping SAG-AFTRA establish the invaluable Intimacy Coordinator Initiative.
