75. Applying vs. Learning

Listen Later

Applying vs. learning - how do these factor into the way you change your relationship with alcohol?

Learning tools, techniques and tactics is a great strategy and a way to avoid unnecessary mistakes. This is one of the many benefits of hiring a coach.

But all the information in the world won’t get you to your goal unless you apply what you’ve learned. You can’t think your way to not overdrinking. You can’t intellectually think your way through an urge. You have to take action. And lots of it.

Today I talk about the different types of action and how you can best set yourself up for success, no matter what challenge you set yourself.

I can help you moderate or give up drinking for good.

You know what you want for your life. I know how to help you get it.
