Over the last three years that Nik Stauskas has been a pro, his family has established an annual tradition - each season, during a lengthy string of home games, Paul and Ruta Stauskas visit their son, and watch him in action.
Not only did this year's trek to Philadelphia coincide with a solid stretch of play for Stauskas, it presented an opportunity for Stauskas to host dad and mom on the latest edition of his podcast, Sauce & Co.
Over the course of the near-hour long conversation, the Stauskases trade questions, and share stories about and memories of the 23-year old's basketball career, from when he picked up the sport as a youngster in Ontario, to his two standout years at Michigan, and his current stint with the Sixers.
They also discuss the state of Canadian basketball, and throw out a challenge to four-time reigning NBA 3-point champion Steph Curry.
