Richard was a self taught geneticist that shared his knowledge with the readers of Full Cry for many years. He also applied this knowledge in breeding American Leopard Curs, Camus Curs, and Old Time Farm Shepherds. The success he found with these different breeds was through his active promotion in the pages of Full Cry every month. Rick gives us a little peak into the life of J. Richard McDuffie.
