Josh Garvin is an independent filmmaker from Long Island raised on John Ford and Howard Hawks. He was the only five-year-old in his life who's favorite movie was "Babes in Toyland" and the only 10-year-old who loved "The Searchers." When he went to film school for his MFA at Columbia College Chicago, he realized that every major interest he had in his life could ultimately be traced back to a movie he'd seen. His (entirely practical) philosophy BA, for example, came about because he fell in love with "Dogma" after seeing it in junior high school. Filmmaking was an inevitability.

Sonia Gumuchian is an independent writer and filmmaker based in Vancouver, Canada. She is a graduate of the USC School of Cinematic Arts and has worked at ABC Studios, HBO, FOX Broadcasting, and the Hallmark Channel. Her last short film premiered at the Austin Film Festival and screened at the Portland Comedy Film Festival among others. As an entertainment journalist, Sonia has covered red carpets and world premieres, including the Oscars and The Hunger Games, for various magazines. Heidi Hornbacher is an award-winning director who has written numerous features, treatments, and TV pilots for various independent producers. She co-founded the Slamdance Script Clinic and she’s the lead screenwriting instructor and story coach for PageCraftWriting. Her clients include Emmy winners, Nicholl winners, TV legends, and regular people with something to say. Her short film, Washed Away, is streaming on Amazon Prime and her most recent script, Gristle, won Austin's Table Read My Screenplay Action/Adventure Genre among many other semi-finalist honors.

Megan J. Wilson is an LA-based film and TV writer originally from Seattle. Her scripts have placed in the PAGE Award, Script Pipeline and Austin Film Festival competitions, she has written and produced a 6-episode web series (The Sanctum) and her work has been optioned. Vasan Arul is a writer based in Los Angeles. Drawn to screenwriting after seeing the show Community in high school, he loves reading and creating stories with the humor and heart to uplift people and give them something to enjoy after a long day. Jeff York has been a professional writer and illustrator for three decades, working in advertising, journalism, and show business. He's an optioned screenwriter and has helped Netflix producers develop a number of series. Jeff's also a SAG/AFTRA member, a certified film critic on RottenTomatoes.com, has his own movie site TheEstablishingShot.org that’s read in 27 countries, and is a member of the Chicago Indie Critics.
