On this episode, we play the new game, You Think You Know Me, created by Ami Baio, a card game in which you win by knowing facts and beliefs of the people with whom you’re playing. If Cards Against Humanity is “a party game for horrible people,” You Think You Know Me is somewhere on the other end of the scale. This trans-Atlantic episode features notable cultural confusion, accidental personal insights, and discussions of mortality! Hilarity, as they say, ensues.

That's Not Contempt, That's the Scottish Accent

The game has 500 cards in a box and a short set of rules. It can be played with from 2 to 10 players, and each player selects seven cards. Each card has a statement with choices or a blank, and players can choose among any of the cards in their hand and then whom to ask. If they are correct about what they know about the person they pick, they discard. If they’re incorrect, they discard and pick a new card. First person out of cards wins.

In this podcast-modified version, the host picked all the cards for players, which card they played, and the person to whom they had to produce the right answer. We played three rounds in this game, but the game can go any number of rounds. You can get your own copy of the game and try it out with friends and family.
