Kristine Richer is the owner of Kristine Rose Photography and runs the Night Photography Academy where she teaches enthusiastic outdoor photographers how to create stunning images of the Milky Way. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Bachelor of Design from NSCAD University and spent over a decade as a commercial product photographer and designer. She started teaching photography at NSCAD university in 2008 and during the pandemic quit her full-time commercial photography job to instead run her own business as a full time fine art photographer and educator. She has exhibited her images both locally and worldwide and has had two of her images featured by NASA on their APOD (Astronomy Photo of the Day).
