This week we're talking about Seasonal depression (Seasonal Affective Disorder)and how it can impact a person with ADHD.
Research has shown that people with ADHD are more prone to having seasonal depression, so if you are feeling low in mood during the winter months and you have ADHD, this could be the reason why!
Seasonal changes can potentially exacerbate symptoms of ADHD in people who have both conditions, as reduced exposure to natural light can affect mood and energy levels, making it more challenging for individuals with ADHD to manage their symptoms effectively during the winter months.
Stick around till the end to hear some of Sparky's tips for managing seasonal depression. Hopefully they can help you this year to get through those winter blues!
