On July 18, 2018, Mollie Tibbetts was spending the summer before returning to college working at a local day care. She had been on the track team in high school, and still kept up with her daily runs. But on this day, she never returned. Even with local, state and federal law enforcement searching alongside many volunteers, they didn’t find her. It would take tracking down the perpetrator to finally bring her family, friends and the entire community a sense of justice.
