In 1982, prominent attorney James Campbell and his wife, Virginia, were killed while asleep in their beds. Their two grandsons were sleeping at the foot of the bed but were thankfully unhurt. After the case was declared cold, three of James and Virginia's daughters hired a private investigator. Although some of the PI's tactics were a bit unorthodox, in the end the family was able to hear not one, but two cell doors clang shut.
