  • 010: The Most Addicting Drug There Is.

    Sugar is literally killing you.

Some studies even claim it's as addictive as cocaine.

Consuming sugar releases dopamine which initially makes us feel great, but the crash afterwards can lead to fatigue and depression.

Most sugar is HIGHLY processed and we get sick more often because eating large amounts of sugar leads to an increased inflammation in our gut.

Why?  We're FEEDING the bad bacteria what it wants.

And that's what this week's episode is all about on my podcast, "A better way to heal".

  • 008: Breaking Free

Featuring Guest: Monica Agana - owner of Savage Babe.  Here's a little bit about her: "After years of experiencing physical abuse, constant bullying from other children at such a young age, societal pressures, and pursuing goals that others wanted me to pursue, it led me to feel feelings of ‘unworthiness’ & ‘never being good enough’ that lingered with me into my early 20’s. After years of working on myself (and still am, mind you), there was a breaking point where I finally grew the lady balls to break away from the chains of my past."

This week we're focusing in on what it means to "break free" and really empower, inspire and motivate other women to do the same thing for themselves and the women around them.

We're talking about how leaving the 9-5 was just that for us and it may be something you NEED to hear.

What about you - what do you need to "break free" from today?

  • 007: Don't Just Survive. THRIVE.

My life changed one night when I had to unbutton my pants. Caught your attention?

Good. I was a wreck with health issues and had been told I needed to change the foods I was eating, but I was stubborn and hard - headed and I need to feel really badly (apparently) before I was ready to commit to a change.

    Can you relate?

Go give this episode a listen. I'm going to be dishing about my personal health struggles and how amazing it is to be on the other side.

    See you there!

  • 006: Approaching Anxiety Naturally

I'm so glad you're here for another episode! This week I'm talking with my girl Kelly Rompel, who is a Pharmacist, Mindset Empowerment Coach, and best selling author specializing in natural anxiety relief. She is the author of "Don't Tell Me to Relax", host of the Rebel Whitecoat Podcast, and creator of the program "Limitless".

Kelly combines pharmacy knowledge with her love for natural medicine and helps ambitious women lower their anxiety, manage stress and recover from burnout without lowering their standards for their business or personal life.

And that's what we're talking about today. Learn more about gut health, ways to improve gut health, how vitamins can help - her incredible book, and ways we can change our mindset.

We clicked so much in this podcast because we both believe there is a better way to heal than with synthetic pharmaceuticals and it starts today.

Go give it a listen, and let me know what you think!
