For Rudy Milton, it came on July 19, 2015 when she received the unthinkable news that her only son, Dominique, had been murdered on a public beach on Hilton Head Island, S.C. at only 17 years of age. In an increasingly violent culture, too many parents and families are left trying to pick up the shattered pieces of their lives just like Rudy.
