Satish Shankar, our Asia-Pacific Regional Managing Partner, pursued a chemical engineering career before transitioning to business and earning his MBA. After initially hiring a Bain team while working at an airline in Indonesia, he was invited to join the firm where he would later become Southeast Asia’s managing partner. Satish now leads our business in the Asia-Pacific region where he focuses on our top priorities for this region.
