In John chapter 13, Jesus demonstrates humility and love by washing his disciples' feet during the Last Supper. He also predicts his betrayal by Judas and gives them a new commandment to love one another as he has loved them. This act of humility serves as a model for future disciples to follow, emphasizing the importance of service and love within the community. 
The focus verse: "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another."

Today is Palm Sunday, let's take a few minutes to read through John Chapter 12 and look at the meaning behind God's Word.
John 12 focuses on the anointing of Jesus in Bethany and his triumphant entry into Jerusalem. Mary anoints Jesus' feet with expensive perfume, a gesture Judas criticizes, but Jesus defends as preparing him for his burial. A large crowd gathers to see Jesus and the resurrected Lazarus, and Jesus enters Jerusalem on a donkey, fulfilling prophecy and being hailed as a king by the people. The chapter concludes with Jesus' prediction of his death, his statement about the need to be "lifted up," and a voice from heaven confirming his words, all amidst a crowd divided in their response.
