One morning, while Jesus was teaching, the Pharisees presented a woman they claimed to have committed adultery. Attempting to trap the Messiah, they asked what they should do to a woman caught in adultery. Jesus's  response is a powerful moment that shows both mercy and justice.
Then Jesus says, "I am the light of the world," and that's how we are to be in the world today, a light in the darkness.
Allow John Chapter 8 to be a moment to meditate on scripture and be scripture for your anxiety and meditate on God's Word. The scripture in this video is from John chapter 8 as a part of our reading the Bible series, reading the Gospel of John chapter by chapter, verse by verse.

Today we are reading the sixth chapter of the gospel of John. My hope with this series is to make scripture less intimidating and more personal. Each week we will read scripture together and talk about the meaning and how to apply God's Word to your life. This week is John Chapter 6, the feeding of the five thousand with five loaves and two fishes. Jesus also explains that He is the bread of life and the Holy One of God. Let's take a moment to try understanding scripture better, together.
