Slowly but surely, our favorite annual beer events of the past are making a comeback after taking a pandemic pause. What are we especially excited about? Savor.
Savor is an experience for beer lovers and foodies that pairs flavor-forward, independent craft beer with small-plated culinary delights. Jake sits down with Bill Butcher of Port City Brewing to get the story behind Savor and hear why it’s so worth attending this year. Bill is also a member of the Brewers Association and dives into where craft beer currently stands with local legislation and how possible it is to put on more unique regional beer events across the country.
In other news, the gang shares beer releases from 3 Stars, favorite beers they’ve been trying from Hellbender and Streetcar 82, an upcoming event with the DC Abortion Fund (DCAF), and MANY anniversary celebrations coming up at Union, City State, and Old Ox. One of these anniversary celebrations may or may not include a special appearance by Fred Armisen.
Keep up to date with everything happening at DCBeer.com, @DCBeer on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Email us at [email protected].
Breweries, distilleries, restaurants, and others who want us to announce new releases can provide that information at DC.beer/releases.
