A More Philly Union

There's no up, there's no down, and it feels likes the Union are in some limbo-like state as they drift through two draws against Toronto FC and CF Montreal.  Back at the AMPU Studios, Paul, C, and E collectively worry about Damien Lowe's on-field performance, celebrate Gazdag setting another club record, and workshop a new line of retro 70's inspired kits and other fashions that would totally work in MLS.

The Union look to extend their on-the-road undefeated streak as the Boys in Blue travel south to take on Charlotte FC.  Back at AMPU Studios, Paul, C, and E discuss the good and not-so-good news about Blake, spin the Wheel of International Call-ups, and workshop a movie version of Spotify.

Is it fixed?  Not exactly.  But in a welcomed bit of role reversal, lots of good stuff happen for the Union this week as they travel north to take on the New England Revolution.  Meanwhile back in the AMPU Studios, Paul, C, and E let the week's victories go to their heads as they analyze Gazdag's new scoring strategy, celebrate potential good news about Blake, and suggest that Jack McGlynn might be the genetic cross between Clint Dempsey and Zinedine Zidane.

It's been a rough week for the Union as they suffer back-to-back home losses, setting club records that no one wanted to see.  Meanwhile, the AMPU crew asks the tough questions: Are the Bad Years returning? What's going on with Blake?  Can we even work in a Replacements reference?

Fortunately, a furry little savior arrives and we get an exclusive interview with him!  That's right, we talk to THE raccoon himself!

It's an off week for the Union but not for the AMPU crew as they discover what second-hand prison busses, midwest BBQ, and Lake Como all have in common.  Join Paul, C, and E as they welcome special guests and family members, Jim and Mel, and discuss the fairytale story that is St. Louis City SC's first year in MLS and the unanticipated series of amazing events set into motion, all just from being soccer fans.

The Union travel to Georgia to face off against Atlanta United, where Uhre quietly keeps producing goals, Martinez flirts with receiving a Blue Card, and Glesnes and Lowe employ psyops against Brad Guzan.  Meanwhile back at the AMPU studios, Paul, C, and E review the missed and denied opportunities for the Union, consider a new segment called "Quote of the Week", and lament about a poorly timed final---
