Roselyn Teukolsky was born in Johannesburg in South Africa, where she graduated from the University of the Witwatersand with a B.Sc. in Maths and Chemistry. She emigrated at the age of twenty-three to the United States and soon found herself graduating from Cornell University with an M.S. in Mathematics Education. Roselyn is married with children and grandchildren. For Most of her life she taught Maths and Computer Science mainly at Ithaca High School in Upstate New York. Since retiring in 2009 She and her husband Saul split their time between Ithaca, New York State and Pasadena, California, where Saul is a physics professor at two universities, Cornell and Caltech. Let’s just say both herself and her husband are smart, so guess where they spend the winter months!

Roselyn is also the author of ‘The Barron’s Review’ book for AP Computer Science, which is presently in its twelfth edition.

And of course, I cannot but mention her passion for playing Bridge, especially with her husband Saul. In fact, we had to schedule all our zoom meetings to put this podcast interview together around her Bridge schedule. Not to mention Roselyn’s Zoom eyebrows, we won’t talk about them for they had a mind of their own and have now been banished to the computer bin.

So, what can we expect in this debut thriller novel of Roselyn Teukolsky? Well let’s take a sneak preview.

The Book

Forty-nine chapters of exhilarating, spine-tingling narratives all beautifully woven with unexpected twists and turns is what you can expect from this high-action thriller debut book from Roselyn. The energy and pace with which the storyline is foretold is staggering. A dead husband, a brilliant hacker, the FBI, a secret world of shadowy sex and money all set against the backdrop of an academic framework. Madeline Geiger’s life has stalled following a skydiving accident with her late husband. Who she thought he was and who she discovers he was through spying for the FBI couldn’t be more opposing. What of the Co-workers who worked alongside her late husband, and who’s the killer lurking close by in this tight- knit working environment? What do they hope to gain from their clandestine activities. Hmm…

In this podcast interview we’re going to focus on the following chapters which should give you a snapshot insight to the overall plot within. The chapters are One, Five, Ten, Eleven, Seventeen, Twenty-three, Twenty-eight, Thirty-two and Forty-one.

Want to know the whole story?  Well, you’ll have to buy the book.
