A Soldier’s Story w/ Franqi French

James, Jerah, and Jonathan are joined by comedian Franqi French to discuss the 1984 Academy Awards nominated film, “A Soldier’s Story,” based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning off-Broadway production of “A Soldier’s Play,” by Charles Fuller. The film is about the investigation of a murder of a black sergeant on a military base during the tale of of World War II. It stars Howard E. Rollins Jr., Adolph Caesar, Art Evans, David Alan Greer, David Harris, Larry Riley, Robert Townsend, and Denzel Washington.
