A Table at the Tan-O: Conversations About the World of General Hospital

Gia is back, and Keisha is so happy to be able to talk about Jason. With someone who understands. Someone who is Team Jason all the way. Unlike all of these people in Port Charles who used to call Jason their friend but who seem to have lost that loving feeling. Shame on all of you. Not you, Danny. Good for you sneaking out to see your dad. And Carly. Of course. Jason is everything Drew is not. Starting with quiet. Drew who? That's what she's thinking. Now we just need Dante to recover.

Thank you for coming back, dear listeners.

Rest in peace, Jack.

America. World. Apologies for not having an episode Monday night. Gia is looking after her dad but should be back very soon. Episode 244 is a bit of a departure! Keisha has invited her co-worker, Nurse Ami, to join her at the Tan-O for a discussion about various medical concerns and topics because this is, after all, a podcast dedicated to a medical drama. You may find yourself educated as well as entertained! Thank you for your time and expertise, Ami! And we send healing thoughts to Gia and her dad.

So it looks like Jason is still Jason. And Sonny is still Sonny. Maxie and Spinelli are Maxie and Spinelli! And Drew is Drew. That one hurts a little. But Port Charles is about to experience some cosmic shifting. When everyone finds out about Jason (and by everyone, we mean mostly Carly), decisions will have to be made. Some people may become upset. Not us. Also, Dante HAS TO survive. He's the role model for every guy in Port Charles. And the world. If he dies, all hope is lost. Until Leo grows up.

He's back! And he's already killed a guy! Welcome back, dear Jason. How we missed you. Now Dante is not looking too good. Will he stay awake long enough to tell everyone Stone Cold (Stone?) is back? Maybe he will, but they won't believe him because he has blood coming out of his mouth. Or maybe Jason will stick around and apply some basic first aid. Either way, we're in. Of course, lots going on at the hospital too. Heather is itching to kill someone. And is Cyrus done with the killing? Looks like all hell might break loose. Keep an eye on Ace, Laura! Also, great cake scene with Tracy and Brook Lynn, and always lovely to see Maxie and Felicia!

It's February 29th, the extra day, and in its honor Gia and Keisha are a bit...extra. So is Sonny! Keep it together, man! Will Dex return to Port Charles to help him/keep Joss warm? Is that a good idea? And speaking of extra, Drew. Poor Carly. She probably threw up a little bit in her mouth. Both Lois and Tracy can be a little bit extra, but they struck a nice balance for Brook Lynn's sake. And thankfully she won't have to wear that pile of satin on her special day. Now, how to keep Gregory alive....And who will Jason be when he returns from the dead?

Carly is looking tired. Of course she's tired. Drew is tiresome. He's no Jason. This is abundantly clear. Carly must be realizing this and feeling pretty darn blue. Ava, on the other hand, is enjoying life as Sonny's girl Jason. Although she's a bit too sassy to be a really effective Jason. Oh, and Blaze and Kristina had a lovely sleepover. They didn't need a Jason.

Nina is coming a bit unglued, and so are Gia and Keisha. And Drew. But go Carly! Seriously, go. Put some miles between yourself and that clown, who apparently only owns one blazer. And is Dante the most level-headed (and therefore hottest) man in Port Charles? Um, yes. Followed by.....well, thank God for Dante. And a round of applause for all of the women who are remaining quite cool under pressure. Ava, Laura, Maxie, Anna (but still maybe take the bullets out of her gun), and the aforementioned Carly. You own this town, ladies.

Gia and Keisha are back! Gia was off being a loving daughter, and Keisha was at home eating her feelings, but they are back to business. Now, where to begin.... Nina? Oh, Nina. With Valentin's support, she appears ready to take her feud with Carly and Drew to the next level. The question is, will this make Drew interesting? Is Carly going to stick with this clown? Is Sonny going to forgive Carly? Or Michael? Nina? What will become of Joss and Dex?  And why didn't Dex try to woo Sonny with some homemade chicken piccata? So much more to cover, and Gia and Keisha will be back Thursday to do just that. Thank you for sticking with A Table at the Tan-O!

Good news for everyone who was waiting for Gia and Keisha to talk about the difference between hay and straw--today is the day! And for everyone else, they also talk about Nikolas (worst son and father), Laura (best mother ever), Lucy and Martin (worst way to end a pretty good relationship), Alexis (no complaints!), Tracy (ditto!), and the whole law and order side of things, which is about as interesting as hay and straw.

So Punxsutawney Phil did not see his shadow, which means an early spring and also an early exit for Esme and Spenser. But sadly Drew is still with us. Of course, no bodies means Esme and/or Spenser can return at any time. And odds are if they do they will be blond and pale. Like Jagger. Remember Original Jagger? Those lips. Those eyes....Where were we? Oh, right. Well, Gia and Keisha will give New Jagger a few episodes to win them over, or not. And eventually they will decide he's awesome, forget what they objected to, especially now that their Neuriva bottles are empty. And in spite of the disappointing end to the Esme story, and the departure of Spenser, there were some fine moments in Port Charles this week. Tracy was very Tracy, in the best way. Ava was a delight. Laura and Kevin, solid as ever--and Laura was superb when faced with her preacher brother Cyrus. Leo could almost have his own show. Now, Nikolas. Laura should just grab Ace and call the police. Oui ou non?
