A Time Of Changes, Celebration, Reflection and Finding Joy: Sun in Gemini & Jupiter Retrograde

This Past Week:

This past week saw the intensity of the eclipse and Mars in Pushya nakshatra lead to some major changes for many people! It also brought out some terrible acts of violence throughout the US. As I mentioned in the monthly episode this has indicated violence in the past but fortunately this is a short transit. Remember every transit can be positive, negative or neutral so this month in general is best used for solidifying your foundations, reflective activities and building upon what has been in the works or what is already up and running.

This week:

6/14 Sun in Gemini: Surya remains in Mrigashira this week giving excitement, play and fun to exploring lots of intrests. Find your power and center thorugh laughter, play, learning, and meaningful conversation. Consider reconnecting with an old friend. Take time to do things for no other reason than the fun of it! This continues through the Summer Solstice.

6/16 to 6/27 Most positive dates of the month!

6/20 Summer Solstice: The longest day of the year is a time to celebrate, enjoy and huve fun! If you can be somewhere with music and dance. Take time to be in the Sun, swimming in water or at the beach. This is ane excellent day for meditations on the Sun such as Om Suryaya Namaha or Surya Bhedana: inhaling through the right nostril and exhaling through the left and Sun Salutations. I’m hosting a live event this Sunday called Ayurveda For The Summer Seasons at http://www.quietmind.yoga that is free for members there - if you’re not a member you can get a 7 day free trial and just join us for the workshop. Ayurveda teaches that all diseases begin in the transition of the seasons, so be sure to take extra care of your health this week. I’ll share much more on that at the workshop.

6/20 JupR in Aqu: Look back to Apr 5th - how have you grown and changed since then? In what ways have you stepped into your unique way of expressing yourself? What unique new teachers and teachings have you learned from? In what ways have you reformed your life? Have you become more self sufficient? What lessons have you learned in the process? What is incomplete in these area?. Now through Sep 14th go back over these areas, tend to what is already in place and close open cycles. Things will fully move forward in these areas on November 20th.
