Today on Karl and Crew Mornings, we begin our week about the promises of God and what is in it for you. It may seem weird to say that, but there are blessings that we receive from the Lord as His children that He has joy in promising us. Karl shows us through 1 Corinthians 10:13 and Matthew 7:24-25 that God has promised us a way of escape and that we would be indestructible. In the context of 1 Corinthians 10, Paul tells us that God promises a way of escape from the sin of idolatry. Even in the midst of temptation, God promises to provide a way of escape so that we do not have to fall to what is tempting us. Jesus tells us in Matthew 7, if we hear His words and do them, we will be built on the rock and indestructible to whatever wave may come to knock us down.
