About Jonathan Cilia

​Jonathan Cilia, born in Sicily, Italy, is a world-renowned tenor whose musical journey began at the age of nine when he started learning both the accordion and piano. His passion for opera ignited upon hearing Luciano Pavarotti's rendition of "La Bohème," leading him to study under esteemed mentors such as Gianna Buniato and Nicola Martinucci. By 16, he embarked on a solo career and recorded his debut album, "Always Close to Me," which sold over 500,000 copies within six years. Throughout his career, Cilia Faro has released multiple albums, including "Rinasci," "Symphony for Heaven," and "From Now On," blending classical opera with contemporary styles. 

 

Beyond his musical achievements, Cilia is deeply committed to philanthropy. He has actively participated in charitable projects across India, Pakistan, and Madagascar, focusing on building schools and supporting educational initiatives. His collaborations extend to organizations like the Knight Templars, Child Fund, and the Make a Wish Foundation. In October 2021, he was honored as a Knight Templar of Jerusalem, reflecting his dedication to both his art and humanitarian efforts.
