About David Smallbone: Concert promoter David Smallbone lost a quarter of a million dollars on a tour.
He knew it would be impossible to recover in Australia, so he and his wife Helen took a big gamble with their kids, and moved to the US. Among them were Rebecca St. James, and Joel and Luke Smallbone, who were destined, years later, to form for King and Country. When they arrived in America, they had nothing but each other. But that struggle was what helped them find their calling, and make it big in Christian music.
David admitted that though he’d been promoting Christian music, and trying to do something purposeful, his faith might have been lukewarm before that point. He also realized that he needed to reassess his priorities. ‘After that time, it had to be Ministry first, and business second,’ he said. Get ready for an inspiring conversation with David Smallbone to explore the remarkable journey behind the hit movie "Unsung Hero.”
Others may be familiar because of his family, including his children of Grammy award-winning artist Rebecca St. James and Joel and Luke Smallbone from the band For King + Country. Throughout the discussion, David imparts profound wisdom on navigating adversity as a family, the power of the Church in action, and staying aligned with one's purpose.

About Joeylynn Mesaros:
Along with 4 other Texans, Joeylynn & others are being sued by Biden’s White House officials and Democrats politicians like Wendy Davis in Federal Court under the Ku Klux Klan Law of 1871 for simply driving next to the Biden Bus. There are ZERO criminal charges. Not even any traffic citations. They are suing in civil court claiming they have EMOTIONAL DAMAGE from our exercise of FREE SPEECH and are seeking FINANCIAL COMPENSATION.
This is a travesty of Justice to see an administration weaponize the law against average Americans for exercising basic Constitutional rights. And then to leverage the media to create heinous lies around the story, leaving us defamed and without a voice to advocate for ourselves.
”We understand the scary precedent this could set at the Federal level for free speech rights for ALL Americans, and we’re determined to fight back. Seeing as we’ve cashed out our 401k to legally defend ourselves, it’s clear money isn’t what they’re after with their 20 DC attorneys.”

About Paul Coughlin:
Paul Coughlin is an author, an international speaker and the founder and president of The Protectors, which is dedicated to helping schools, organizations and communities combat bullying.
As a Target of bullying while in elementary school, Founder and President Paul Coughlin knows just how damaging such a campaign of cruelty can be to a person’s emotional and psychological wellbeing—damage that can harm a person well into adulthood. Some never recover. Unlike traditional anti-bullying efforts that focus primarily upon reforming children who bully and which are historically ineffective, The Protectors focuses primarily upon the potential strength, heroic desire, and rescuing capacity of Bystanders, transforming them into what we call “Alongside Standers.” We also provide assertiveness training for Targets, help Authority dispel the many damaging myths about bullying, and inspire children who bully to employ their power in life-affirming directions instead.
His books include No More Christian Nice Guy, Raising Bully-Proof Kids and 5 Secrets Great Dads Know. Paul and his wife, Sandy, reside in southern Oregon and have three teenage children.

Listen to the full episode wherever you get your podcasts. Join Brad in the studio for a sit-down interview with Nate Larkin.
About Nate Larkin: After just five years in the ministry, at age 30, Nate made the choice to quit. An obsession had developed into a virulent addiction to pornography and commercial sex. His decision to abandon vocational ministry was driven primarily by private despair about his moral failures and the fear of public exposure. He took a job with a construction consultant and redirected his sermon-writing skills to producing technical reports. But even with the change in careers, his addiction continued. His wife Allie was his only friend and confidante. Nate had achieved his childhood ambition—to live like Samson. And like Samson, he found himself living in isolation and futility.
After years of praying, fasting, pleading and repenting in private, Nate finally found help for his sex addiction—in the form of authentic friendship and the safety of a 12-step recovery group. No longer would the deadly cocktail of isolation and temptation rule him.
As he worked through the 12 steps, Nate began to see life differently. He even saw his biblical hero, Samson, with new eyes. Nate came to understand that God-given gifts such as exceptional strength and impressive oratory skills are not enough to sustain the Christian. Eventually, he found a new biblical hero, another moral failure who had recovered: King David. In sharp contrast to Samson, David was a man with friends.
The gift of male companionship, which he first experienced through the remarkable courage of Jonathan, became the defining characteristic of his public career and his safeguard when things went wrong. Nate finally understood why a 12-step group had accomplished what solitary prayer and fasting could not. God designed the Christian life as a team sport!
Nate loves to talking men about their need for community, and how they can overcome struggles together.

Join Brad in the studio for a sit-down interview with Darnell Phillips. We go LIVE on Brad's Youtube channel every Monday.
ABOUT DARNELL PHILLIPS: In 1991 when Darnell Philips was 19 years old he was sentenced to 107 years in prison for raping and brutally beating a 10-year-old girl in Virginia Beach. In 2015, the Innocence Project based at the University of Virginia, found, and had tested, new DNA evidence that they say proves he was not at the scene of the crime. This crucial development led to Darnell being freed from prison, on parole, in 2018, after serving 27 years in prison. Darnell, now 50, has always insisted on his innocence, but his conviction has still not been overturned. This is due to a legal procedure in the law courts that lawyers believe a groundbreaking new law will remove, allowing Darnell to finally prove his innocence.
