There was an extract from the Manx paraphrase of Paradise Lost in 'Traa dy Liooar', so we have the opportunity to hear Jack Gell reading out that for us.

In 'Goll as Gaccan' there's a rhyme to be heard, one of those that are being written to teach children the sounds of the Manx Gaelic language.

We're still looking at the reminiscences of Neddy Beg Hom Ruy in 'Claare ny Gael', and this time he's referring to the way that the fisherman behaved when they were coming to the end of the season and the herring fishery was coming to a close.

We have an opportunity to enjoy a show that was performed this year by children of the Bunscoill Ghaelgagh - A Story about the Sword Macabuin. Phil Gawne reads out the start of the story in 'Goll as Gaccan', and then we hear the children themselves.

In 'Claare ny Gael' we're out on the sea again with Neddy Beg Hom Ruy as he tells us about the customs associated with the herring fishery in the days when the fishing boats were under sail.

In 'Jamys Jeheiney', James Harrison puts nine questions to us, associated with three topics he's chosen this time : Japan; Fynnodderees; and Mice.

We hear another rhyme performed by Phil Gawne and Annie Kissack to teach the phoneme /r/ in the Manx language to children. As well as that in 'Goll as Gaccan', Phil Gawne talks about shopping.

We hear that Neddy Beg Hom Ruy was writing down his reminiscences and stories he heard from other people whilst he was aboard a fishing boat which was lying at Crookhaven, and that all of these things comprise a letter. These extracts are to be heard in 'Claare ny Gael'.

Ta shin clashtyn meer elley ass Pargys Caillit ayns 'Traa dy Liooar', as Juan y Geill lhaih magh obbyr yn Arrymagh Thomas y Christeen er-nyn-son.

We hear another extract from Pargys Caillit in 'Traa dy Liooar', with Jack Gell reading out the work of Rev Thomas Christian for us.

In 'Jamys Jeheiney' there are ten questions put to us by James Harrison, but there are only nine answers to be had - we have to wait until the next time to find out the answer to the tenth question. Again, questions on various subjects and an opportunity to find out further information about them as well.

Because 'Goll as Gaccan' was being broadcast the day before the Government's annual ceremonial in St John's, Phil Gawne tells us about phrases appropriate to the day itself, and about certain people who are to be seen taking part in the ceremony.

As we heard in 'Claare ny Gael' before now, Neddy Beg Hom Ruy's father was well-known as a fisherman, but his boat was wrecked one year. When there was a reason for Thomas Nicky, the Gaaue Garroo (the Rough Smith), master of the fishing boat, H B Duke, to remain at home, he asked Neddy Beg's father to be the skipper, and Neddy Beg Hom Ruy went with his father, as a member of a crew that was a bit wild and given to the drink.

We still stick with the recording by Jack Gell of extracts from the Manx paraphrase of Paradise Lost in 'Traa dy Liooar'.

In 'Shiaght Laa' we're looking at Laa Columb Killey and Gaelg 21, at the meaning of the word and the idea, Utopia, which is used these days, and we hear a new song written by Emily, Cristl and Ned of the Bunscoill Ghaelgagh for Galeg 21, Gaelg Aboo!

There are ten questions for us this time in 'Jamys Jeheiney', and James Harrison tells us a little about the topics as well.

There wasn't a lesson or a story for us in Manx in 'Goll as Gaccan' this time, so we go ahead to 'Claare ny Gael', and more reminiscences of Neddy Beg Hom Ruy.

Maralyn Crellin talks about the Iomairt Colm Cille in 'Shiaght Laa', and the time it was launched in the year 1997, and then about the way in which the Isle of Man has come to be involved with it. She also talks about St Carbory and the parish which has his name, but his name is not given to the parish church.

There are nine questions for us in 'Jamys Jeheiney', and James Harrison puts them to us.

There was a guest taking part in 'Goll as Gaccan', and we hear Rob Teare reading out an announcement about the work of the Sulby Cossacks, then Phil Gawne reads out a story by Caesar Cashin, and then an amusing letter which was published in the Mona's Herald.

We're continuing with hearing about the reminiscences of Neddy Beg Hom Ruy in 'Claare ny Gael', as he tells us about his time at fishing for the herring and for the hake.

It's Fiona McArdle who presents 'Shiaght Laa', and we hear about two churches in Douglas that aren't to be seen now, as they were demolished several years ago. We hear as well about St Columba of the Church.

Phil Gawne leads us through some sentences in First Lessons in Manx by Edmund Goodwin in 'Goll as Gaccan', and then we hear a rhyme that was written to teach the sounds of the Manx language to the children in Mooinjer Veggey.

We're looking at the reminiscence of Neddy Beg Hom Ruy again in 'Claare ny Gael', finishing off the story about a time as a cook, and beginning another story about the finishing when he became older.

Phil Gawne looks at a small part of a song by Neddy Beg Hom Ruy in 'Goll as Gaccan', before he goes through the phrases in a lesson from First Lessons in Manx, and then he reads out a story by Colin Jerrey which was printed in the book Skeealaght.

There's more about Neddy Beg in 'Claare ny Gael', and then a little bit by Neddy Beg, from a letter and from a story about spending a night on a fishing boat - we hear the start of that.

Professor Avril Maddrell's work as a social and cultural geographer includes her interest in the annual event, Praying the Keeills, which we hear about in 'Shiaght Laa'. However, there was also a bit of a misfire, and we hear about that, before we join Doolish y Karagher in song.

We welcome back 'Jamys Jeheiney', and enjoy twelve questions put by Jamys Kinry.

Phil Gawne and Annie Kissack perform a rhyme to emphasise the phoneme [g] for us in 'Goll as Gaccan'.

'Claare ny Gael' brings us another series of short stories translated into Manx by Neddy Beg Hom Ruy.
