A flight carrying more women and children linked to Islamic State has landed at Sydney International Airport.

A large group left the Al Roj camp in northern Syria last week and boarded flights from Qatar.

The ABC understands 11 women and children were onboard the flight that landed in Sydney

Another two women and seven of their children arrived in Melbourne earlier this afternoon.

An Australian travel company selling heavily discounted international holidays has collapsed leaving customers scrambling and their plans in disarray.

Today, liquidators were appointed to Melbourne-based agency AVG Travels.

AVG promoted cut-price flight and tour packages to destinations around the world.

It follows days of growing concern for customers who were reporting their tours were cancelled or placed "under review" just days before departure.

Neither of the two officers involved in the death of Kumanjayi White in Alice Springs last year will be charged.

The Northern Territory Police Association has welcomed the news saying it's been a difficult and emotional time both for Kumanjayi White's family, as well as the officers involved.

Kumanjayi White's family has questioned if they will ever see justice.

Detectives investigating the movements of police killer Dezi Freeman have arrested two men in Victoria's north-east.

Freeman was shot dead in March after seven months on the run.

Police have today arrested a 48 and a 45 year-old at separate locations and have confirmed they are not Freeman's family members.

The pair will now be interviewed by police.

The family of Kumanjayi White says they're heartbroken and angry at the news Northern Territory Police will not lay charges over his death.

The 24-year-old died after he was restrained by two plain-clothed police officers following an alleged confrontation with security guards inside a supermarket in the Alice Springs CBD.

The Northern Territory Police Commissioner Martin Dole says there was no reasonable prospect of a successful prosecution in the case.

He says police will fully cooperate with a coronial investigation expected later this year.

The US military has carried out so-called 'self-defence' strikes in southern Iran.

The US Central Command says the strikes targeted Iranian missile sites and boats trying to place mines, with the aim of protecting American troops.

The attacks come while Iranian negotiators are in Doha for peace talks.

The US Central Command says the attacks were defensive in nature, designed to protect its ⁠troops ‌from threats posed ‌by Iranian forces.

Iran's top negotiator and its foreign minister are reportedly in Doha for talks with Qatar's prime minister on a potential deal with Washington to end the three-month-old war.

But both the U-S and Iran have played down hopes for an imminent breakthrough.

Russia says it will launch 'systematic ​strikes' on the Ukrainian capital and is urging foreigners to leave quickly.

It warns that it will strike targets in Kyiv linked to the military and decision-making centres.

The Federal Government has confirmed seven Australian women and 12 children with links to the Islamic State group have made plans to travel from Syria to Australia.

Their planned journey follows the recent return of another cohort of IS linked Australians who arrived earlier this month.

In a statement, Home Affairs Minister Tony Burke says the government will not provide any assistance to the group.

He says any members of this cohort who have committed crimes can expect to face the full force of the law.

Power prices are expected to fall for most Australian households and small businesses from July under the Australian Energy Regulator's final default market offer.

The offer sets the maximum price which retailers can charge for electricity on standing offer contracts and applies to New South Wales, south-east Queensland and South Australia.
