This week I chat with Bowling Centers Association of Michigan Executive Director Bo Goergen about the centers in Michigan not being allowed to open. We discuss the rally that was held in Michigan earlier this week and what centers in Michigan are doing to prepare to open.

O'Keefe talks about the recent announcement by the USBC postponing the college bowling season until January of 2021. We also hear details about his team selection process and Bryan also shares how the power game plays a role in collegiate bowling and how McKendree is preparing for the upcoming season.

This week I catch up with Sports Psychologist Dr Dean Hinitz. Dr. Dean shares his perspective on how to handle the disappointment of an event being cancelled due Covid-19. We also chat about how things will change on the lanes after Covid-19 and how to handle uncomfortable situations at the bowling center. Dr. Dean has advice for the PBA bowler and what they need to be focusing on during the pandemic and what they need to be thinking about when posting on social media.

This week we chat with San Jose State University Head Coach Lindsey Wong. We discuss what makes a bowler successful in college and how he prepares his team mentally. Wong shares what he believes are some of the biggest challenges bowlers face when entering a program. We end our time with ways bowlers can stay sharp if they are not able to get on the lanes.

This week we catch up with newly named college bowling coach Derek Sapp. Sapp was recently named the head coach of the Men and Women’s Culver-Stockton College bowling teams. Sapp talks about his recruiting philosophy and his thoughts on urethane. We also talk to Sapp about his thoughts on the USBC OC with the changes we will all see in Reno.

This week we catch up with University of Alabama Head Coach Austin Smith. Smith coaches the men's team and discusses how they are handling Covid-19. We also talk about what he likes to focus on with his team and what he is doing to learn as a coach.

This week we catch up with former UAB bowler Annie Hurley. Annie joins us to discuss her time at UAB and what advice she has for new college bowlers. Hurley talks about how her mental game has changed since bowling for UAB and the abrupt end to her college bowling career.

This week we catch up with Director of Bowling Operations and Head Coach Men's Bowling at Calumet College of St. Joseph Mike Kubacki and newly named women's bowling coach Dale Lehman. We discuss what Dale brings to the table and how he has evolved as a coach through the years. We talk about how important a players mental game is and what that "it" factor is when it comes to a finding great talent at the high school level.
