Secretary of State John Kerry gave an interview to Jeffrey Goldberg of the Atlantic in which he warned Congress that if it rejected the Iran deal, it would “screw” the Iranian regime, and the Ayatollahs would not come back to the table.

Is this approach to world conflict the problem or merely a symptom of a much deeper problem that has infected or thinking and, therefore, our approach to solving domestic and foreing challenges?

Does John Kerry speak for you? Do you care if the Ayatollah and the Iranian regime feels "screwed?"

This week many news outlets and media sites are publishing Camille Paglia's interview in Salon. All three posts have thus far been a compelling read and while Paglia makes some undeniable great points and backs them up as well, it’s important for readers to take her own advice.

Paglia says its incumbent for every American to get their news from a variety of sources...Left, Right and otherwise in order to be 1) fully informed and 2) be able to extrapolate something resembling truth from the various agendas presenting the "facts."

No less true for discerning Paglia's position on a variety of subjects. She has a long history of political commentary and purports to be an atheist and a Libertarian. But scratching beneath the surface of her words, and examining context as well, may tell a different story...at least about her alleged Libertarianism.

There is no denying that the abortion issue is here and needs to be addressed. Whether its the 55 million plus that have been aborted since 1973 or the recent exposure of the gruesome practices of Planned Parenthood, we can no longer deny the repercussions and consequences of using abortion as birthcontrol, particularly to the Black community.

Margaret Sanger, founder of Planner Parenthood, was a Eugenicist. Her goal was the elimination of "the black race" and "undesireables" from society. From the grave, she has likely surpassed even her most optimistc expectations.

So, do we condemn the exposure of the barbarism and greed of Planned Parenthood... or do we condemn those who have brought it to light? Who we see as the perpetrator says more about us than it does about them.

From lying John Kerry who testified under oath to false allegations of torture and worse by U.S. soldiers in Vietnam to eugenicist Margaret Sanger, Founder of Planned Parenthood whose stated intention in so doing was to ride America of "the black race"...isn't it time we aksed ourselves "Who have we become and why?"

We seem a culture intent on destroying ourselves and perhpas the world along with us.
