Our military has been fighting for the last 10 years and the burden they are shouldering is unlike anything we have seen before. The political class who voted for these wars have been unable or unwilling to get our troops the care they deserve. This has been a tragedy of epic proportions for the people who have riskecd their lives to serve their nation and depend on treatment when they return.

Ted Cruz puts politics aside and invites Doanld Trump to speak at Capitol Hill to help get the message out about the dangerous deal that President Obama negotiated with Iran. Ted Cruz knows this deal will put Israel, The Middle East and the U.S in grave danger. Ted Cruz knows he is is in a polical dog fight with Donald Trump for the presidency, but he also knows there is a time for politics and there is a time and place to come together to stop evil...this is one of those times.

During the speech Trump stated"If Senate Democrats decide that party loyalty matters more than national security and if Republican leadership decides that showboating is more important than stopping this deal, then the single most important issue in 2016 will be stopping Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapon," he said.

We live in a world where everything has become political so it is refreshing to see political opponets come together to address issues that affect us all.

We didn't just let corrupt politicians slip past us...we have become hardened to trash TV, violent ISIS tactics, nudity in music videos, and media deceit. 

This past weekend 325 #BlackLivesMatter members marched yelling "Pigs in a blanket. Fry 'em like bacon" referring to killing cops. Then a cold- blooded follower of that movement executed a Houston police officer at a gas station by shooting him in the back of the head and then 14 more times in his back.

On the same weekend, there was a march for "Love and All Lives Matter" in Birmingham, Alabama and 30,000 turned out.

We all know what's wrong. Ask anyone and they can point to guns, the economy, terrorism, unemployment, immigration...the list is seemingly endless. But like putting a band aid on the surface of an underlying bone disease...other than appearances not much gets fixed.

It’s easy to respond to the latest act of senseless violence that occurred in Virginia yesterday by resurrecting the cry for gun control, but if our problems are so numerous and so easily identified, isn't it time we looked at root causes instead of symptoms?
