James is a BJJ Black Belt, served in the Marine Corps for 20 twenty years with 6 tours in Iraq. He is a father and husband.

He has created Kinonos for Kai a non profit dedicated to his sons Legacy, Kai Wright was a dedicated Jiu-Jitsu athlete and champion who the world lost too early to suicide.

Every 1.5 hours, a youth commits suicide.
